People who run farms ask, for their farm businesses. So do billionaires, for their businesses.
Let's see.....yeah, that's about it. Did you get your farm-raised corn for supper?
If they need tax dollars to turn a profit, let's not pretend that's capitalism. They're making their billions from taxpayers.

why do we import poor people?

I answered the question Joe

Genesis 1:27

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

We import them because they are created in God's image. Full stop.
I'll play.
You and I are on a debate stage. 3 judges staring us down, trying to pick a winner. One of the judges is an athiest, I think you are about to get my drift......

I ask you,,,,"Why do we import poor people, we can hardly take care of our own poor people, the imported persons cannot speak english and will hardly be able to take care of themselves. Our country has no welfare program for them, we cannot afford it , we are $39T in debt. And Think of meds..., they may have contagious disease, etc etc......and again WHY do we import them????"

The judges lean forward in their chair for your answer. HOW would you answer this question for a win!!!!! in this debate?

In my experience, poor immigrants work hard. They're often eager to do jobs that coddled snowflake Americans won't do.

That's why. We have too many billionaires and too few farm workers.
Bish, this WGrass answer. Not much to key off of. He speaks of the immigrants, I was speaking of the USA.

Cheers Chessfriend :-)

we can hardly take care of our own poor people?

Says who? Resources are not a relevant argument. We have enough resources to feed the entire world. We choose to use those resources for something else, instead of feeding and housing our neighbors.

I am not saying that is a bad idea. That is not the argument. You are saying there are not enough resources.

Google AI

These are results for how much did the us spend in corporate welfare in 2025

While exact final figures for 2025 aren't available, estimates from early 2025 point to the U.S. spending around $181 billion annually on corporate welfare (business subsidies, tax breaks, etc.), with sources like the Cato Institute citing this number in analyses of the federal budget, covering various industries like agriculture, energy, and tech.

we are $39T in debt

Yes and yes. We have many things we can agree about. $39T in debt is not sustainable.

Illegal immigration costs the United States more than 200 Billion Dollars a year. How was this allowed to happen?

We have chosen to give taxpayer money to corporations instead of poor people. Which is not the argument. We vote every 4 years.

However you can't say we don't have the resources. We do. We give them to the rich instead of the poor.

Judges?

This one says we have enough to feed the entire world. I am just reporting, see for yourselves. The forum is indeed entertaining
Who is this guy

Tell him I know someone on this very Forum who has a lot of money .....he could feed hundreds of people. Let's call him Al. 'Hey AL,...So what IS it with you!?!?!?"

My friend, I am fairly sure that the judges don't care about the people, just the arguments.

Here is this guy's argument.

Today, January 15, 2026, the United States of America has enough resources to feed every man, woman, and child in the world.

Everyone.

We chose to use our resources elsewhere.

Do you disagree?

I have enough resources to feed a midsize town. So, give me my marching orders. Standing by. Great opportunity to make your point.

Posting alert: You have to actually say something. Ahhh, entertainment on the forum, this should be good.

This is what you said - cut and paste my friend Joe ~

"I'll play.

Here is your last "argument"

"I have enough resources to feed a midsize town. So, give me my marching orders. Standing by. Great opportunity to make your point.

I think we have a winner.

All good. Joe this website is better for your passion. I respect your desire and willingness to move our country and the world forward. I may even put my flag back up one of these days.

Time to sleep in Wisconsin - be well and we will debate again on another day.

And yet you supposedly can't buy gas to go volunteer.

I was right in saying you using that as an excuse is immoral.

Yeah, yeah, I know. Loving your neighbor is okay with you... as long as he's white.

Let me say this one more time also. You supporting Trump is hurting Americans, and this is also immoral.

There is more to life than money, and yes, you may quote me on that, as long as you don't put words in my mouth as usual.

In the USA, the billionaires are the needy ones.
Obviously.

Most of them need cheap labour to remain rich.

The average American is too fat to do heavy labour, 60 hours a week in a field; they’d rather sit in front of their trailers all day, smoking home made booze, drinking crystal meth and snorting frozen burgers.

Rich and middle class educated people from 3rd world countries rarely emigrate. So you mostly get the poor, uneducated and the needy.

Go Bish.

I will put it this way, even Sue will get it. How will the judges react when your ‘argument’ is rooted in your religious beliefs?
