This embezzlement scandal was a very big deal back in 2022 when this story first came up. The issue was widely reported on in the NY times and of course over at breitfart.

Are you just learning of it now? I'm pretty sure you started a bunch of threads to discuss it all back then, and I'm pretty sure there was universal condemnation.

Embezzlement is bad, this isn't really a viable "debate".

It was not crickets. You can even read about it in ebony magazine.

It is an old story though. The trump administration appears to be bringing it back to score some points with their base.
