Your PC extremism may help us get control back. On national news today, some RaNJ school has removed holiday names,(christmas, Thanksgiving, Independence day, memorial day, etc) from the calendar. The phrase 'Day Off' will be used in lieu thereof. They say it will stave off 'hurt feelings'. Jesus.
Columbus Day will be changed to Indigenous People's day. Are y'all obliterating our history?
@averagejoe1 saidRemoving holiday names and replacing them with politically correct titles is what happened during the French Revolution and will have the same result.

Eventually Americans will wake up to the nonsense and get rid of these people.
Sorry I should have posted a link, here are a couple. Couldn't find one on CNN!!!
And, please note that. The lib stations are embarrassed and show nothing.

@AverageJoe1 Is there not ONE of you turkeys who will split from the pack (known as 'groups' in lib-world) and let us honor what these days stand for? Please think for a moment....hell, , you are probably chewing your pillows over the increase of $1/gallon for gas, and not paying attention to what is REALLY going on. You knew Joe was lying when he said he would not increase your taxes, knowing all along that he would hit you another way. He learned from Obama!
So forget all of that which is about to come down on you, and carry one of your signs outside of the school board. I would, but I dont have one of those signs!
@dood111 saidbwahahahahahaha, what a retard.

"You knew Joe was lying when he said he would not increase your taxes"
what in the name of your lost marbles does Biden have to do with what happened in a new jersey school?

Yeah, I don't agree with this. You don't have to wish anyone "Merry Christmas" if you don't want to, but it's useless to ignore the reason for a holiday. If anything, it's an opportunity teach history and culture.
My one exception is with Columbus Day. He's not an American and never accomplished anything for the U.S. So why should he celebrated as an American holiday? He did not "discover America" as so many schools have falsely taught for decades and did not prove the earth was round.
What did he accomplish? He enslaved many indigenous people.
In fact, scratch that; let's keep Columbus Day and use that as an opportunity to teach about European colonization and slave trading.
@very-musty saidGo away, retard. Come back when you say something funny that I can mock. The joe is at least funny
@Zahlanzi
You aren't allowed to say retard anymore...you retard.
@averagejoe1 saidInterestingly, the US had no holidays for almost the first 100 years of its existence:

"The first four congressionally designated federal holidays were created in 1870, when Congress granted paid time off to federal workers in the District of Columbia for New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. In 1880, George Washington’s Birthday was included. In 1885, Congress extended holiday coverage for some holidays to all federal employees. Although Thanksgiving Day was included in the first holiday bill of 1870, it was not until 1941 that Congress specifically designated the fourth Thursday of November as the official date.
Since 1888, Congress has added six federal holidays, creating Decoration Day (now Memorial Day) in 1888, Labor Day in 1894, Armistice Day (now Veterans Day) in 1938, Inauguration Day in 1957 (quadrennially and only celebrated in the District of Columbia), Columbus Day in 1968, and Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday in 1983. In 1954, Armistice Day was broadened to honor Americans who fought in World War II and the Korean conflict, and the name of the holiday was changed to Veterans Day."

If you read the article you'll see that a good number of changes have been made to the national holidays: additions, name and date changes, etc. etc.
No one suggested these changes were worth a "civil war".

Did you see where Zahlanzi, who lives in a country that most of us could not find on a map, dares mock us? His life has been benefitted by the USA,, i will guarantee you that. Prob got his vaccine from us, and typing on one of our computers. Oh, and we and the allies kept Hitler from taking them over.
I wonder what the names of some of their holidays are . One of them starts with the phrase 'The day after,," How juvenile and cumbersome is THAT!
