NATO provoked that invasion of Ukraine. Russia warned about NATO expansion. The US wanted Russia to invade Ukraine to keep Russia too busy to help Assad fight off the US supported terrorists. That is where a lot of USAID funding went by the way.
Why do you try to maintain some hypocritical moral high ground? Do I have to make a long list of nations the US government invaded to see the powerful nations do not care about morality?
If Texas declared independence and Russia supported their new government the US would not invade Texas to take it back? You seem to think Ukraine was independent forever. It was a Soviet state. Then the US overthrew Ukraine by coup and tried to make it a NATO nation.
