Think I'll have to listen to this... tupac, was it?
Put it like this:
I like it when he sings "Over the hill and far away"*

* As far as possible.

I just wish they'd stop releasing songs by him, he's dead, thought he was gone then, but no, they keep the songs coming just to annoy all that hate him. 😞

A lot of songs with Big Stretch.

Please don't listen to the Loyal to the Game CD. That was so crappy. Try to find the original versions of those songs.
The song "Smoke weed all day" is my favorite nowadays.

I listen to everything. Rock, Metal, Rap even country.

Having an open mind is the key to like new music. I never listened to rap in my whole life before I moved to the US and I love it now since i can understand that crap they're talkin' about.

I like diversity.

But Biggie was a better freestyler. One of the best ever.

On that one I can't argue. Sometimes Tupac freestyles just were to damn wack! But he could write a great song in no time.... They say " Hail Mary" was all done in half an hour and "The 7 day Theory" was recorded in a week! 😲

Biggie and Tupac are over-rated.

Explain! Just the Tupac part as I agree with you on Biggie.

LOL, I was just teasing a bit because I don't really appreciate that kind of rap. For me, Tupac had a few interesting songs but for the most of it I feel it was really nothing special.

I do love some hip-hop, but along the lines of Prefuse 73, RJD2, ATCQ, Madvillain, etc.

Ok. If you have time please go and listen some of the songs I put on my list. But most of them you have to download cause some were never officially released and others were released but in a remix fashion. But Grab the Mic has a very good lyric to it. And Nothing But Love too...
Madvillain I've heard about but never listened to. The other ones I don't think I know. Are they in the conscious rap category?
And what about Mos-Def?
