Mike, simple intent of the follow-on post was to continue

the series: 'lame', 'very lame', 'the lamest', 'most lame'....

.
Well it didn't read that way, either to me or probably to many others.

If your intent was to follow on with words, why the need to call upon an individual's name with no reference to what you were intending to follow?

That doesn't make sense to me.

Feeble was the first word that spontaneously came to mind. Typed it then gave in to an impulse to elaborate and ended up with a reference to ponderable's post, which triggered the series, rather than contributing another interesting modification.

Would you and ponderable please accept my apology. By the way, how the post read to "or probably many others" doesn't matter in context. The point in time give and take was strictly between you and me. Seeking absentee support seems 'feeble'.

If Russ & Chris ever allow nickname revision, I'm submitting "buttbuddybobbyblahbibit-" as a replacement for gb.

Why do you take the GF so seriously Bobby?

What's wrong with a preoccupied mind, or even a mind that really doesn't care for serious interplay on a website, after a hard day's work?

Go to any website that has a GF and you will find, indeed, that most of it is trivia, or escape from the whole purpose of the site.

Here the purpose is to play chess, an ...[text shortened]... r passion, but couldn't it just be in the wrong place, or even the wrong forum?

Mathew 7:1-5 “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye.

Luke 6:37 “Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven"

Proverbs 31:9
"Open your mouth, judge righteously, defend the rights of the poor and needy."

1 Corinthians 2:15
"The spiritual person judges all things, but is himself to be judged by no one."

What makes you think GB takes the GF seriously?

Are you not now doing the judging.

From the many conversations I have had with GB & what I have seen in his Threads, doesn't tell me he takes the GF seriously at all.

I am sure certain people get under his skin as they do with you. So is life. Live & let live. Don't judge, as you may end up being judged.

From where I sit...What I mostly see is small minded people taking pot shots at GB for their amusement and the amusement of their peers.

I was merely showing mikelom that the bible doesn't say not to judge. It says not to be a hypocrite.
