Seems that on this thread it has become clear that there are more insults being delivered than babies.

And so it comes to mind....birds of a feather flock together.

Here is to the good old delivery system, to the storks of yester-years.

How many here know that the business of midwifery was not limited to delivering babies, once upon a time?

Australia has 500-odd male midwives. Plenty of male nurses too. Only people with archaic religious customs would have a problem with that.
Half our current trade apprentices are female. Nobody objects when the female plumber arrives to fix the leaks.

Being able to coexist courteously with people who may have different mindsets is an art, and Torunn does this very well. It's possible for most of us, if we control the natural instinctive belief that one's own ideas are the only right ones.

For Christ's sake! The world is coming to an end, do we really want any more babies delivered? They will have to be sent back, address unknown, no such number, no such zone, 3rd Rock from the Sun. No one lives there any longer. All dead and gone. See Voyager 1 or 2 for the forwarding address on record.
