I don't think many travel with a laptop worth 10k... £300 currys job, that's what you want to travel with.

Edit: Actually i got mine at Argos, does the job.

If travelling, assuming it’s for pleasure not work, why haul around a laptop? Wouldn’t a “Smartphone” be a better option. Actually if for pleasure, why either?🤔

LOL....Top of the line Laptops could cost $10,000.00. Lets say you could afford to buy one have it, who is going to travel around with that with the chance of it getting stolen? Even for work a cheaper one would make more sense. You can afford $10,000.00 you can afford a 2nd cheaper one for work.

Depends what kind of travel... A week at the beach and you're right, 4 months away and a laptop is handy. A see a lot of people travelling with tablets... Handy for Netflix and chill.
