Listen to the people who say "be yourself." If you don't get it, watch Hitch a couple of times.

Damn, people, abeejnood (or whatever the name is) is a 12 year old
boy, don't tell those Kit Kat things and whoper and this and that...

Ab... ask her out to a mini golf match. Fun, relaxed, fresh...

No movies, no dinner, and especially NOT a lot of e-Chat...

And lots of phone conversations... she must become used and then
addicted to the soothing ring of your voice*

* Only applicable if your voice and accent is like Tom Jones 😡
15, actually. I think I will call her, but not yet because I don't want her to think I'm too anxious.

He'll probably have to if he's gonna go with two girls.

Date her friend, too. That will not only show her you're not too anxious, it will also make her jealous. πŸ˜•

She lives miles away from you, doesn't she? Next!

Until you call her, you won't know if you even have her number.

Okay it's good to ask questions. But make sure she doesn't feel like you're interrogating her. Remember to say a few things about yourself, as well. Give and take. Good luck! πŸ™‚

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------
(examples of interrogating: As soon as she answers one question, you ask another and another and another)

Have you ever eaten at [name's nice restaurant]? (she answers)
What's your favorite kind of music? (she answers)
Did you like the movie? (she answers)

Questions are good in moderation.
This would get kinda annoying after awhile if you did nothing but ask question after question after question. Say something interesting about yourself as well and be a good listener. Self-disclose about yourself that way she gets too know who you are and decide whether she really like you or not. But don't just talk or listen either. Sometimes the best thing you do doesn't need talking at all.[for example: giving flowers, hugs, holding hands, pulling chair for her, opening door for her, smiling, keep good eye-contact with her, don't look at other women when you are with her especially not at other women's butts or breasts!! πŸ™‚, etc., etc.]

-- Paul

p.s. and make sure you're relaxed. Women can sense if you feel nervous and are uncomfortable. Confidence is very attractive to a woman. It's good to "be yourself" but if you are normally nervous and uptight and a complainer, and criticize alot; and that's you just "being yourself" that will probably not help you at all.

The best advice found here is huck, Evil Pawn 666 and Ice Cold.
There is truth in these posts mate, namely be yourself, as she was attracted to YOU in the first place.
Now, sic her Rex! Hurry up, off you go!
You've let enough time to pass!
I like having a laugh, but i'm not an animal. Good advice comes from me when it is honestly requested.

So I just came back from this leadership conference, NYLC. The whole thing was fun and I learned a lot, and at the end there was a dance. Usually I'm the kind of person who's too shy to ask a girl to dance, but I got the nerve to ask this one pretty girl to dance, and at the end of the night she gave me her name and number, and when we got back home we friended each other on Facebook. So now I want to start a conversation, but what to say or ask?
If a girl gives you her number, then that's a pretty good sign she likes you. It isn't a green light to phone her 25 times a day, but it is an invitation to make contact again. 'Howzit going?' is a pretty good place to start. Chances are she'll probably be just as nervous about the whole thing as you are so assume an air of confidence and you'll make the whole thing much easier.

SMS messaging is probably one of the greatest inventions of all time! You can write something, save it, read it over an hour afterwards then send it. The recipient receives it completely unaware of the thought that's gone into it and you get to start a conversation without looking like a complete twat, which unfortunately is often the case when you've spent hours building yourself up to ringing a girl then find you have nothing to say when you finally do it. Not that this has ever happened to me, obviously... πŸ˜›

Yeah if you want to sound like a researcher. 😲
