The post that was quoted here has been removedYes, I did, but wasn't sure what to make of that. I figured it probably means that he'll be on the net every few weeks, not that he'd play chess on the net every few weeks, as he hasn't made any moves yet, and the first sentence sounded like he doesn't play at all, but maybe I am wrong.

Yeah I do know how the pieces etc move and I played on some games sites, 2 actually.
Odviously most will be better than me but why not sometimes?
I havent tried here yet cause I havent really been on the net today.
Im up early going for my run and that, so my sleeping pattern is a bit wierd and all I do alot of sports more than the net so maybe ill try have a game later or something.
