Well... it's time to get things planned and everything...

The official title is going to be:
The great big sort-of-a-chess-Amsterdam meet-up!

It's going to be a sort of a chess meet-up, because we're not going to be playing chess...

The program will be along the lines of:

- Water boat tour
- Rijks museum (Rembrandt and what's special about his work)
- Anne Frank: what happened in the Netherlands during WW2... and the tree.
- An introduction to Dutch fast food (entrance and exit speeds)
- A short lecture on Dutch bureaucracy
- Smart shops and coffee shops (that's the drug part Huck)
- The Wallen (red light district)
- After party in a late night pub or club.

Obviously we'll have to agree what the priorities are, what the max. costs can be (although most things aren't too expensive) and what sort of food and after party is wanted.

More about that later. First things first....

1. September or October (which is preferable?)

They're hardly that impressive. The sewers in New York, London and Paris however... they're a whole other ball game!

Can't we have a little bit of chess ? If we don't, i'll need the drugs from part 6 to get me through parts 1-5 😛

If we ever met I hope I shagged you.

Anyways...

1. Yes this is serious. I promised it at he London meet-up.
2. It will all take place on one Saturday in September or October (so you don't need to miss school Freddie)
3. It will start in the morning, with an afternoon meet-up for people just arriving (obviously they'll miss out on some of the trip...like the Anne Frank house... it's best to get there early).
4. Sleeping: The weekend re-tour to Rotterdam and back is 24 euros, you can sleep at my place for free. A hostel costs roughly 25 euros in the centre of Amsterdam. So it's not really worth coming to my place at all... thank god.

So, to sum it all up, basically: A day of culture, sex, drugs and rock and roll! And maybe a game of chess for Huck.

As with anything I organise: Under 18's have to be accompanied by adults, unless they're really horny.

Yes. That last remark was a joke.

If you go for September then be aware that there is a major, annual media conference there during that month and accommodation can be very difficult to find.
Such accommodation that is available can be very expensive as I found to my cost both last year and this year.
