i read today that the Dutch government is moving to outlaw the sale of hallucinogenic mushrooms😕 is that true?

EDIT: looks like it is true, according to the news section on this page: http://www.sjamaan.com/
Don't worry, I am a cactus grower. I have Lophophora (Peyote).

Just for the record...

I'd be happy to come to Amsterdam, as long as you add some chess into the program. October would be fine for me, and it was Marinka that wanted to go to the coffee shops, not me. I stopped smoking Hash 6 years ago, and it'd probably make me whitey 😛

If it is arranged in October, I can make it.

Shav, can I stay at your place?

I was in Amsterdam at the weekend and I came across a tree which had about 100 teddy bears hanging off it.

Any idea what that was about?

They were probably teddy's seeking refuge and refused to leave.

EDIT:

Well. Tie a string around my balls, bounce me up and down and call me a yoyo...

The official title is going to be:
The great big sort-of-a-chess-Amsterdam meet-up!

It's going to be a sort of a chess meet-up, because we're not going to be playing chess...

The program will be along the lines of:

- Water boat tour
- Rijks museum (Rembrandt and what's s ...[text shortened]... bout that later. First things first....

1. September or October (which is preferable?)
How can you not want to play chess in Amsterdam?

There's that massive chess set next to vondelpark and a
chess cafe in the leidseplein. We don't have stuff like that
in the UK.

My Dutch also isn't what it used to be. Any clues, Shav?
