Naturally you don't have to do the parts you don't like.
At one point we'll just meet up for chess (hopefully not, but I think I'm outnumbered) and a drink. You'll be able to join us then.

Pretty soon Amsterdamn and myself will be getting the date/program/etc. ready and it will be published.

I'm in - pretty easy for me to get there from Brussels... I'll try and get Hindstein along as well.

Righty oh!

Saturday October the 25th, it is.

What I'll need to know is:
- Do you plan on coming (please PM me if you are)
- Will you just be coming for the Saturday in Amsterdam or will you be arriving for a Friday evening in Rotterdam as well?

If you can let me know before the 1st of September, then I can get matters arranged. Like which activitiets need to be planned, chess, booze, naked Eastern-European Sl...

Well, you know what I mean...

So far the Saturday activities will include (for those who are interested, those who aren't can meet-up at the drinks part of the day):

- Waterboat tour on the canals of Amsterdam
- The Rijksmuseum (Rembrandt and all that jazz)
- Coffee shop and fast food experience
- The Anne Frank house (early morning)
- Chess and booze.

You can get a London to Amsterdam return (with the Eurolines bus) for less than 50 pounds. And there's no added airport tax or anything.

Ryan air, Easyjet and all those sort of airlines generally have cheap offers going as well from various airports in Britain to Amsterdam or Rotterdam. You should be able to get a return for less than 100 pounds (including airport taxes).

A hostel in Amsterdam shouldn't set you back more than 15 pounds or so a night.

Won't cost anything if you hitch a ride in a truck. You'll even get a sarnie on the underwater train, so you won't arrive hungry.

Might drop by for the chess&booze part. Will ask to see if my friend LekZ is interested as well. Nice idea, though, hope there will be some people from outside Holland, and hopefully not too interested in just booze & girls (it seems there are lots of people who think that Holland and particularly Amsterdam is only about that).
Che(s)(er)s!
