These days, with human knowledge expanding so rapidly, we must still face the fact that our race and planet is very small in the grand scheme of things.

It made me think about all those stars that shine so brightly and, yet, such an insurmountable distance from our planet.

So my question is this...

If all the planets of our solar system joined forces and battled the sun, who would come out on top?

About what kind of battle are you thinking?

The sun has more mass than the planet combined, so a head on collision can only have one victor.

I would like to see a story about a superhero who has the bravery to train so hard he is able to take the sun on in a battle and win. It would make a great film too, yes?

I dont get why people give the sun such a good press, it does more harm then good.

Lots of people think we have modernised but we will never truely be an independant species until we have mastered the sun.
