Hiya

Just a quick message. Are any of you currently living in the UK or have you been living in the UK in the past few years?

Please message me if you are / were, it's regarding research for a book.

Thanks
Richie

Zimbabwe is so much better off now that it's not Rhodesia, isn't it?

It depends who you are, just as then. But exiled Zimbabweans hope for a better Zimbabwe, not a return to Rhodesia, which is no longer anything but a certain woeful state of mind.

When I think about a return to "Rhodesia" I think about a stronger ecomony, good government and equality for all. I don't think about a return to "white" rule but a country run by all Zimbabweans for the benefit of all Zimbabweans rather than a country run by a corrupt dictator for his ruling elite.

Zimbabwe in 1980 was a country with great potential which Mugabe has systematically ruined. Whether it can recover from what he did is debatable as so much long term damage has now been done to the infastructure.

That never existed. Of course it is a wonderful goal--for Zimbabwe.

Everybody knows what Bob is: a murderer since day one. Pity the decent candidates were so mysteriously bumped off.

Of course it can recover. It just takes a certain amount of political will--and money.

With your prophetic skills, I'm surprised you aren't a millionaire instead of a teacher.
