My personal best is with a pint of Guinness resting on the iron holder with 20 B&H, blocking the queue for a film at a cinema in Padstow, Cornwall, wearing nothing but my dressing gown.

I lasted 10 minutes ironing a shirt before I was told to foook away by some angry punters.

Nothing by today’s standards, alas, it’s a young mans game now.

PM me if you fancy a challenge in Scotland, I might be old but I am still steady with an iron.
