I just tried to post something in the sports forum, and as soon as I hit submit, I got a message telling me that my post had been deemed inappropriate and had been banned.

How are these things decided? I never swore, I didn't insult anybody, I was a bit sarcastic (but since when is that a crime) and I wasn't racist (although I did use the word).

Is there any way I can look at my post again and see what the problem was so I don't do it again? Or change what needs changing?

I'm not that worried if it doesn't go up, it's just the first time that's happened.

Any help?

I doubt you can recover it unless you can back up your browser.

I think there is a filter thay automaticly deletes when certain "key words" are present.

It's an automated system that picks up on certain words. More than likely "the racist word" as you put it, caused it to be flagged up and blocked.

Wait up - you misunderstood my post - I meant I used the actual word 'racist' in the post.

I said something like 'the pakis are cheats. But don't think I'm racist coz I think the South Africans and the Aussies are too'.

I'd just be interested to see why it got banned. can I appeal it anywhere? Like send feedback?

Ah, if you were talking about che@ing, that's likely to be the reason. Robomod (the program removing posts containing certain words) doesn't understand the context, and RHP-related che@ing accusations are not welcome in the forums, so it was programmed to remove posts containing the word "che@ing" or "che@er" (I think using it once is okay).

I don't think you can appeal, but you can write the post again, trying to avoid words which you think might be a problem.

Yep, you're right. I just typed a reply to this post containing the word che@ting and it got banned.

Now I get it. Thanks guys.
