So maybe it's a compound word, with three vowels and just under 10 letters?

yourself?

Basic Human Needs

Nothing psychological or scientific; no Freud, Jung or Maslow; just a few basic, fundamental needs: air, water, fire, sleep, food, shelter, privacy, etc. There's one that's seldom if ever listed. Care to guess? And no, it's not a game. (OP)

"Yourself" = You (the one with the basic need). Getting colder.... not warmer.

"Need one three vowel word with less than ten letters which describes
what you need now to stop this feeling of frustration." (reply to ale1552)

I'm betting less than 10 letters means 9 letters.

happiness

If it isn't scientific, it likely isn't a fundamental human need. But I'm going for triangles.

.... too general: what noun would describe the event that would provide happiness in context?

Fails to satisfy the less than ten letter word with three vowels; and doubt "Tupperware" would satisfy the need in view.

In context of emotions which have developed within this thread and described: for example, ale1552's "frustration".
