The wife is out of Town, so I am going to grab some hot wings, beer and watch either X3 or Bruce Lee's Game of Death. The only problem is that Guiness now sells for $9.50+ / 6 pack. I need a good (and cheap) alternative.

Is there an alternative to Guiness? I like Sam Adams, but it is no where as dark. Come to think of it, if you have it around you might find the price is the same. A 6 pack here is about 8 dollars.

Sammy's beer is usually $6.50 / 6 pack. I often enjoy their seasonal specialties.

Beamish, and Murphy's are the two main alternatives, if you can find these. Beamish is usually cheaper over here, so maybe it's the same where you are.
