Seems like the best thing to do is become better with money management than her. Does she have any "frivolous hobbies"?

LMAO! How pussy-whipped are you?

$30 a year isn't exactly going to break the bank! If you REALLY had a decent salary you'd easily be able to afford the incredibly tight budget of $0.60 per week.

by decent I mean I make a teacher's stipend of $42k per year...and yes I would agree with you $30 per year fits very well into the budget...I think the real issue is hormones and having to jump through hoops while the wifey is pregnant

Suely you must have your own pocket money that you can spend on hoagies, or Pretzels, or whatever you eat when you want a snack...couldn't you hoard $30 over a couple of weeks ?

There were no students back in those days. My grandmother was a full blooded Indian.

I come from a good home with enough money. I wasn't lacking anything (and still aren't) in my childhood. I lived in the best neighborhood in Denmark with the really rich and the famous (in Denmark). And I still started working when I was 11. Something about learning the value of a buck earned.
I thought you had to be at least 12 to practice that trade.

You need a bit of equality in your relationship my friend, get out from under your thumb print and stop her holding all the purse strings.

My loving girlfriend renewed my subscription for me last year, as I was grumbling about the service here and refusing to pay it myself. That's the kind of situation you want!

Interpretation: she prefers you to spend time here than with her, so she can attend to the plumbing in peace.
