Ok, some suggestions are needed now I believe.
1. Ratings (obviously)
2. Ability to Kibitz (ie, watch other people play)
3. Ability to offer rematch after the game is finished (choosing colour also)
3. Some sort of chat feature at the bottom of the main lobby would be nice. (This would allow people to organise informal tournaments, though i realise it could cause problems as it'd probably need moderating...)
Anyone else got a wish list? (Russ is gonna love me for this!!) 😛

I have had a few ideas on how to support tournaments too. 🙂

Originally posted by Russ4. It would be nice to be able to set handycaps, ie 5 min v 10 min time controls. Also, once you get over 5 minutes you can only go up in increments of 5 minutes. Why? I normally play 7min+5 games elsewhere but i can't here... 😉

I see Russ has installed a rating system (beta) for the blitz games. YEA!!!
But it also says that if you have a firewall you need to give a certain port number access to macro media's flash program. Well, I have a hardware router which closes all ports until I open them. Does this mean that I will have to remove the hardware firewall to play blitz?
I don't think I can program it to leave a certain port open, but maybe that's possible.

Rahim has posted some of his games at ICC and he was 1200. On the contrary I find ICC easier than PlayChess I reached 2107 in only 7 games against different opponents.
[b]Statistics for MickMouse2000 On for: 13 Idle: 0
rating [need] win loss draw total best
Blitz 2107 [1] 5 0 2 7[b]
There is an FM rated in the 2100s and there are fewer players than PlayChess.com
