I can't believe people actually buy bottled water. I find it just as refreshing to put a bottle of tap water in the fridge. I mean c'mon. What's Evian spelt backwards? Aren't they just blatantly taking the pee?

Not if you live in Asia Jim. You wouldn't want to drink the water here. It pulled from the Yangtze, into which 300billion tons of you know what is poured per annum. There are needs for bottled water in some places. 😉

Fair play. didn't consider that. But I was referring to people in the developed world that have a fridge full of the stuff. I must admit that, when I've been out and about I'll have a bottle if I'm thirsty. Not much choice in the matter. But if I'm at home, I just pull a bottle of tap water out of the fridge and pour. I can't tell the difference.

At home I agree...... In fact tap water when chilled tastes better than any bottled I have bought!... it's got an almost thicker more juicly feel to it than bottled. (And lots of bottled water comes fron a standard tap anway! 😉 )....

when coka coola tried to get into selling bottled water in the uk, they simply filled em from the tap, until the media found out and coca cola had to run for cover.
