They aren't my "opinions". They are facts. And I've given you the "opinions" of the people that were ACTUALLY involved in dealings with cuba/IMF/US government.
Perhaps in your mind facts are just opinions if you don't agree with them.
Hey, I live in Canada. Our government hates UK immigrants and welfare recipients. Do you believe that is true just ...[text shortened]... ot since none of us live there so what could we possibly have to offer to the debate.
your dismissal of marinj's view of his own country based on a poll of Americans.
Originally posted by xsThe point, which i guess you are just dismissing, is that just because someone holds the same view as you, and they live in the country that you are talking about, it doesn't mean that somehow your argument is made stronger.

It just means that 1 person in that country agrees with you.
And as I pointed out, there are many people in a country (the US for example) which believe things that just aren't true about their own country. I may think George Bush is a great leader and 30% of Americans may believe he is a great leader too....but that doesn't somehow make my argument correct because George Bush just ISN"T a great leader.
I'm an american and I am aware of Venezuela's history with the US... the fact of the matter is we have a particularly vicious and warmongering regime of the aristocracy in power right now and because of that the I will admit the US is an evil and dangerous imperialistic force. On top of this Venezuela just happened upon the largest oil supply in the world. I think they are right when they assume that the United States will stop at nothing to steal their oil reserves that will help bring peace and prosperity to the southern americas.

Can you find any links to media sources which confirm his statement that Chavez' regime was responsible for 200 deaths in Caracas alone?
Of course, 200 people may well (and probably did) have died in Caracas this week, but trying to manipulate that into an attack on Chavez like marinj did is completely disingenuous and typical of the way people try to manipulate foreign opinion of Chavez government.

"implied" theory.
When marinj says..i am a venezuelan man, and i can said that hugo chavez is a crazy man, our country has misery, doesnt have medicine, education but other country has our money because chavez gives them
I am more inclined to believe it coming from a citizen actually living
under chavez rule than you web experts. And to tell the man that he
does not know what's going on based on a poll in another country is
just plain silly.
Originally posted by marinjDid you miss this post, xs. I base my judgement on overall honesty on an internet forum. This is blatantly BS, so I chose to dismiss his other posts. Your a staunch supporter of Bush, aren't you? Seems you have a penchant for believing what liars tell you.
200 dead in the week what is this? only Caracas

I was on the Bolivian border in 2003, when the u.s. backed president killed hundreds of his people, because he was a party to the u.s.' plan to practically steal billions of dollars of gas from the Bolivian people. Please read about these actions, which would also be happening in Venezuela if america got it's way and installed a puppet government there. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bolivian_Gas_War
