I'm glad you embrace the humble 'U.' - Without it you would be torn.
I love the 'U'. To quote Margaret Thatcher for no reason at all:

"... To those waiting with bated breath for that favourite media catchphrase, the 'U-turn', I have only one thing to say: 'You turn if you want to. The lady's not for turning!'

What happened to the “u”?🤔😲
Indeed. It's a mystery he didn't write "Soth" as well.

But what is it with "neighbo(u)rs" anyway? We are not all horsemen down here.

@Very-Rusty

Happy Canada Day to you and yours and them and theirs and all Canadians, wherever they might live now. 🙂

Sir, could you perhaps have meant to write "curiousity"?

@Pondy,

The word "neighbors" is spelled correctly. It is the plural form of "neighbor" which is the American English spelling. "Neighbour" is the British English spelling of the same word.

Bill
But Rusty, Canada is not our 51st state yet -- plus, could you imagine Québecq agreeing to that? 😉

(However, I would be completely in favor of some kind of Canadian Trojan-Horse maneuver/manoeuvre where y'all get to be the tail that wags our dog. To some extent, I think Canada is the USA's Tibet. 😉 )

Canada Day is Tomorrow July 1/25. Relations with our closest neighbors to the South has never been as tense as they are now that I can recall in my life time.

I don't see that happening anytime soon. Besides we have better Health care and don't have to pay for our operations like you do in the States.

So happy canada Day to all Canadians!

Only in your eyes, for most of us we don’t even think about you 99.9% of the time. Live your life, be happy.
If it were up to you idiots, we'd have Russia on our border instead of a great neighbor like Canada.

No.

All -ous endings drop the u when adding another suffix.

This is according to the OED.

I know you meant to be funny, but again, you missed the mark.
