"With all of the radical problems that plague our society today, there need to be radical solutions. Considering the hunger, over crowding, and poverty of the nation today one obvious solution is, instead of burying the dead in one of the many graveyards that exist in the United States, eat them. There will be much protest; however, eating the dead would be beneficial.
Many believe that eating the dead is disgusting, inhuman, even evil. The truth is that people have been eating their dead since the beginning of time. Some cultures believe that this is a respectful or spiritual act, that they gain the strength of the individuals that they have eaten. In fact, ancient Aztecs would partake in the flesh of tribe members that they had sacrificed to the gods, but treat them with much honor and respect before the sacrifices. Many benefits can also be had from the eating of the dead (Lindenbaum 478-479).
Eating the dead is nutritious; it’s common sense that the human body would be comprised of all the nutrients the body needs to survive. Many anthropological studies have shown that the ingestion of human tissue, including blood and flesh, has been used not only as food but also medicine, and that mummified flesh was available from reputable German pharmaceutical companies as late as 1909 (Lindenbaum 478-479). This is still being practiced in China where heath care centers sell human fetuses for around twenty dollars; in fact it is becoming a delicacy. Moreover many Chinese doctors believe that this is a healthy dietary supplement."
This may be a timely solution to the epedemic of starvation and anoerxia... all at the same time 😛
