hehe,so we're not very happy for our teams in this moment.........😞
I'm content, we had a good season compared to last year and I would have taken a playoff semi-final defeat if offered back in August, It was dissapointing the way those 2 games went, but that's football.

Worry now about future of the gaffer, will see what happens over the summer.

Cisse and Gerrard to miss along with Pirlo for Milan to win on penalties. πŸ˜›

One of the most amazing matches I've seen in a long time. What an advertisement for football. Too bad it went to a penalty shootout. Liverpool deserve credit for scoring three goals in the second half.

What the hell were AC Milan drinking at half-time? That was shocking, especially for an Italian team.

Fair play to Liverpool. Any team that can come from 3-0 down in a final deserves to win.

Thanks to Milan and Liverpool for a very memorable final.

Man of the Match? Harry Kewell. His loss of bottle in the 20th odd minute was a major turning point in the game.

I had Liverpool to win nothing from the start of the season, I scoffed each time they made it to the next round in any competition, proclaiming how they would come unstuck at the next hurdle.

Fair play to them, they stuck at it and are now the champions of Europe. What were the odds of that back in August?

Well done Liverpool F.C.

To all Liverpool fans - enjoy the year as Champions of Europe, that's better than Chelsea!

To all English football fans - be proud that an English team (admitedly with only 2 Englishmen on the pitch) reigns Europe once again.

I predict the FTSE will rise tomorrow off the back of this

Congratulations to Liverpool FC. Champions of Europe and hopefully the start of a return to the English club domination of the competition.

With (hopefully) Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Everton and.......Oops nearly forgot Man U. in the compo next season things are looking rosey again.

Also, big up to my team Crystal Palace who despite being relegated beat the Champions league winners 1-0 on 23 April 2005.

That was the best drinking night for ages.

The only ones I can put above it are England games.
1-5 in Munich
Gazza'a goal in Euro 96
and david platts last minute effost against Belgium in Itallia 90.

34 games waiting spells danger lurking!

I can't describe the happiness I felt and am still feeling tonight. I'm just lost for words. Sorry, might post something more meaningful when and if I have calmed down.

What can i say.. At 3-0 down at half time i was thinking that the best team was winning and as a liverpool fan i couldn't say anything.

Then they came out and amazed everyone after half time..
I'd say its a long time since any team scored 3 goals in 6 minutes on
AC milan.. I'm after a shit load of pints and a couple of whiskeys but its got to be said that the team with the most spirit and determination wno tonight.
Any other team would have given up 3-0 down..

Lets enjoy the moments.!! Woohoo!

I'm not a Liverpool fan by any stretch of the imagination, but...
To go through over 2 hours of football, come back from a 3-0 deficit and STILL have the nerve to win a penalty shootout, deserves the congratulations of any follower of football.
It was the beautiful game at its best.
Well done the fans too, for behaving so well.

Man of the match for me had to be Jerzy Dudek: talk about keeping a cool head in a crisis!
