Oh, darn, and here I thought this thread was where grown men could crawl around on their bellies to cry about insignificant things.

God, I'm bored. Never heard of the film. Is it mainstream, or an independent film? πŸ™„

I watched half hour show ON this movie on Sci-fi channel. Looks interesting. Imagine the youngest person on Earth is 18. No kids and such.

I'd like to see it, wonder where I can catch it. Is it in theaters in the US?

Yeah, it's in the US. I've seen commercials on TV. I read the book years ago. Excellent read.

There are no children of men. Children belong to life's longing for itself. They shall be here in your never tomorrows. They come through you but not from you. They are the living arrows sent forth. The Archer sees the path of the infinte and he sends them. But be glad. If your arrows fly high and far, then your bow is stable!

Thanks, it's from one of the Metal Slug games for the old Neo Geo. I'm a big Dune fan too Arrakis.

It is getting ultra-rave reviews... best movie of the year, best sf since bladerunner & 2001 😲

As soon as it gets to my little town I'm going to make the pilgrimage to the cinema to see it... Last movie I went out for: Depp & Pirates πŸ™„

The movie is being compared to 'Blade Runner' only because of the dystopian future depicted in the film but other than that they are two very different works of art. 'Children of Men' I believe is better compared to the new Battlestar Galactica.
