@fmf saidTo clarify, it's okay that myself and a few others genuinely thought you might have died of Covid and that the perpetrator of said prank was in no way creepy?
As pranks go, I thought it was fine. Not poorly timed, no ~ well-timed in fact. And not creepy.
Yes, yes, the prank became increasingly ridiculous, but it started out with Dive going out of his way to be convincing in his claim.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidNo I wouldn't. The prank was fine.
If anyone other than Dive had carried out such a prank you would be front of the queue calling it twisted, rather than jumping into the hole with both feet.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidI don't think you did believe it. I think you're just posturing about it a year later.

@fmf saidThis simply isn't true. I personally was messaged by people at the time unsure whether or not you had died.
Yes, I thought it was fine. Nobody fell for it. Ponderable immediately pointed out he was chatting with me in a game of chess it was a harmless prank. No one said anything about me as if they believed I had passed away. Are you sure this is not related to my father-in-law's passing?
@ghost-of-a-duke saidIt was "ridiculous" right from the start. Ponderable immediately called it out for the prank it so obviously was.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidEven if you and Very Rusty think this is so, how does it justify his behaviour on this thread and why are trying so hard to defend him?
Your 'prank' was poorly timed and in bad taste.
