Look, let's be clear about this. Dive's 'prank' (as he calls it) certainly ended in a ludicrous and clearly jokey fashion, saying Russ was flying out to your funeral etc, but it certainly didn't start out that way. Dive said in one early post that we knew nothing of the Covid situation in Indonesia and spoke about you in a past tense, saying you wouldn't have liked him telling us about your passing. (When challenged about your account being active he said your son had taken over your account).

For a day or two there were a few regulars who genuinely thought you might have died. (Myself included). The fact it ended in an obviously prankish manner doesn't negate the fact that it started out as plausible and that Dive's 'prank' was seriously mistimed (due to the pandemic) and in poor taste..

As pranks go, I thought it was fine. Not poorly timed, no ~ well-timed in fact. And not creepy. No. Not nearly as creepy as Very Rusty has been on this thread, for sure.
