So there are issues, as always, with a first release version of a new Windows operating system. There will surely be more, and there will be updates and patches to download, and eventually, when they have it working reasonably, Microsoft will release a new OS with new issues...

I just reread my posts here and I do come off a little... stuffed. I always
seem to do that in matters of Microsoft. Don't know why, really. They're

Why are computers not too clever at certain things? I hit my respond to thread button and nothing seemed to be happening after a few secs so I hit it again. I look in threads and my response is there two times (which we've all done!). But why can't my pc recognise that I am asking it to do what it is already doing, exactly the same info! Why can't the receiv t rocket science is it? Anybody in the computer industry tell me why this can't be done?
what you have asked for is very possible, this would probably come under the transport layer (no.4) of the OSI, (standards to ensure reliable completion of data transfers); i would say though the problem isnt the send ing of data, it will probably be the speed of your pc, the speed of your internet, or the speed of the server that host RHP; i would say by reading your post it's your pc, this is due to a delay in the processor processing the request, by then, you've waited, and clicked again, the process then will be repeated as your pc has no idea if you wish to submit the data once or twice...
to be honest, i work in i.t. and after studing the inner workings of a pc, the very fact it manages to turn on and get windows up and running is beyond belief... in order to do so it has to process millions and millions of zeros and ones, if one is out and not read properly, it doesnt work! so maybe we shouldnt be too hard on it...
