That's hard to believe considering it was your own club.

Funny thing, I've just been unceremoniously ejected from I assume the same club, and I believe my usual recourse for explanation via a PM to the club leader has been blocked. I have said nothing that I am aware of to cause offense, so in the absence of any further intelligence I assume my only 'sin' has been to befriend people that said club leader would rather I hadn't befriended. I leave you all to draw your own conclusions, and send my best wishes to all remaining club members, I didn't jump, I was pushed from behind.

As to how to deal with it, we can either cry into our beers together or accept that the weak and petty - minded walk amongst us, and get on with our good and happy lives.

No, it's because you're an arrogant, narcissistic misanthrope.

Does it matter so much, there are other clubs. When we lose a friend, we will find a new one.

Grow up.

Exactly, Torunn, it's a private club within a chess website, which to me and I'm sure to Mister Divegeester is really no big deal. To be honest I have nothing personally against anyone, but it appears that remaining apparently neutral in disputes is enough to make people turn against me. Anyway, my best wishes to you and yours, and forgive me for replying to a post written to somebody else, it just seemed opportune.

If the club members are also friends in our private life, then I understand why the rejection may feel disturbing. Among purely internet friends we often do not know much about each other and that's why I mean it matters less.
