Every time someone posts something about a good game, I'm going to 'carp on' (whatever that means, mate) about it. Why? Two reasons - It was the greatest ODI ever played and it seems to irritate you lot every time I bring it up...
..and its the only result you have to hang on to. It's ok mate, we still love you.
By the way, "carping" means naggingly critical or complaining. You know the meaning of spammer too.

The records for last summers' ODI's were:

games Aus RSA Tie No result
2005/06 Australia 4 3 1 0 0 Australia
2005/06 South Africa 5 2 3 0 0 South Africa

For tests:

2005/06 Australia 3 2 0 1 0 Australia
2005/06 South Africa 3 3 0 0 0 Australia

Yay mate, you won one of these series last summer , then only by one game.

😀😉😀

I have to agree, it was a pretty amazing match; probably not as amusing as the Bangladesh match over here.

As far as who will win in India, I'll stick to my usual level of optimism winning out over all the evidence and back England to win.

Sure, England has a slim chance, but I think India and Sri Lanka are the teams to beat there.

Hmm interensting choice and I'll tend in your direction. But first must be Aus who perform well there and still are No 1. Only downside is they might be a bit weak in the bowling. SA struggle to bowl out teams in the sub-continent and don't have decent spinners, so they won't fare. Sri Lanka have Murali, so they will be contenders. India for the home ground advantage. Pakistan as they have a fine team, a great coach and local conditions.

In a pinch I'd guess an India-Pak final?

It seems they are growing sour grapes.

They didn't think the pitch was shocking when they made 434.

Seemed to me that they were pretty chaffed with themselves.
