Hey, can I get a copy of your dating tips book? What was it called again? Daring Dates With Depp? I'm not good on the phone, though. Any advice for people like me?

LAdies and gentlemen of the jury, the prosecution rests. Yo, when did you get this epiphany that men weren't pigs. Didn't you start a thread about men being pigs or something like that?
I have always had a secret fondness for the misunderstood male. I think I'm beginning to soften in my old age :"(

Besides I've had a VERY long time to contemplate matters of the heart. Men, in general, are very kind and generous with their affections. If given the chance. 😀

I don't agree with this one. I think it's just silly game playing. If someone meets someone that is exciting, why not act on it, show the excitement, and not fear rejection?
Who said anything about meeting someone exciting? 😕

In that case, why give a number?

No, no, no, no. You must understand something about the kitchen. The kitchen is not about cooking. It is not necessarily about food. It's part of being in the game. Since you is in the BWA, you know how important the game is. The kitchen is all about being comfortable with pleasin. It is about relationships. It is about community. He will observe how comfortable you is in the kitchen. Not to mention you bendin over to put something in the oven. Do not under-estimate your role in the kitchen and do not denegrate yoself for preparin food. It's all about meetin needs.

I don't think it's an actual written rule. It just seems to be the natural way these things work. From my limited experience.

I suppose sitting here night after night cooped up in the house is a much preferable option?

Why not meet in his kitchen and see how comfortable he is there? Or meet in her kitchen and cook together?

If he reads at all he's a keeper!

This is how it usually works around here.....be interested to hear how it goes elsewhere.

A man will approach you...make small talk...ask if you are married or attached. Upon finding out you're not they'll ask if they can take you out sometime, either dinner or movies ect. I find that if you exchange numbers, you have a message waiting the next morning. Why is it that women don't have to wait three days?

😕

Going out to dinner is one thing. Being invited into my home is another. I may be taking the first steps into the world of dating but I'm FAR from jumping in feet first by inviting anyone into my kitchen!

I like both ideas. Cooking together is one of the best things a couple can do together. You look at mature relationships and you see couples cooking together.

Yes...but if he talks it's usually a downfall. 😉

(Was my point, you don't have to wait three days.)
