Yes. Let's legalize it. Organized crime can be cut out of the loop, and the Government can make a bit of revenue (a surprising amount, I'll wager!) out of it. I think it's important, though, to halt the production of so-called "skunk." It stinks (hence the name), it's far too strong for its own good, and could possibly cause mental problems in the unwary/uninitiated/whatever... Old-fashioned hashish and grass are what we really want here.
as an aside...
In 1987, I played in a varsity match for Oxf**d. I was so blasted on the old hemp that I castled my Queen. NOT good. Disqualified. Cam****ge won. A lifetime's ignominy. God help me.
😳

I do think that if he arrived at his position through observation then I think he is valid in voicing it without being labeled a hate monger. This is a weakness of the American left, the unwillingness to listen to a contrasting opinion.
So you have bought into Anslingers message of hate and intolerance,
hypocricy aside.
*Edit: And yes I do think it should be decriminalized, but regulated.

Person A believes pot makes you stupid and lazy.
Therefore, Person A hates blacks, Mexicans and jazz musicians.
That's a pretty big leap, Aristotle. Your logic could use some serious work.
It was as I stated. Back in the 1940's or maybe earlier, this pig named Anslinger was a known hater of blacks, mexicans and jazz musicians and started the anti weed campaign specifically as a weapon against those people. He could have cared less whether grass was bad for you or if it made you live to be 200, It was created specifically so he could target blacks and mexicans.
He also is thought to have been in cahoots with Dupont because hemp was viewed as competition to cotton and together created the anti grass campaign. So it served three purposes for Anslinger,
political, personal and financial, he certainly got payback from Dupont.
Originally posted by Black TalonI suppose people wouldn't have to get criminal records for it anymore which would be good, but it might suggest it isn't harmful, and i think the more modern forms of skunk are damaging. Messed my head up anyway. I'm not sure if 14 year old kids should be going through that kind of paranoia, and legalising it might give them the wrong message.
Well, do ya?
If you want to smoke weed just go down the street and by some. Smoke it somewhere quiet with your friends. Why legalise it?
