I don't, but I'm sure I will when I'm older. I guess I could if I wanted to, there are plenty of places to go, but it seems like an expensive hobby. The clubs alone are really expensive.

My handicap used to be 6, I have parred the local course, only because I used to play it daily.
I haven't played this year at all, my clubs have dust over them. Quite sad really, I will have to start at 28 again!!

The kids bought me six lessons for my 60th b'day. Playing minimum of twice a week and now six years on I play off 20 (on a good day!) It doesn't have to be expensive but it does need time. Time = £ or $. With a rescue club, wedge and putter; a small bag (to carry your balls, tees and wet weather clothes etc) and a pair of shoes you have enough hardware until you're hooked. Our club in the UK costs £550 for a five day membership for the year. Play as many times as you like. I say 'until you're hooked' cos once you think you can play . . . the books, videos, lessons, and the club that will (in theory) give you the edge . . . all start to mount up.
DO IT. I wish I had 40 odd years ago.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to play for a little over two months now due to a leaft hand injury. I am actually having surgery on it tomorrow, and in another month or so, I should be able to at least start swing again, unless they botch the surgery. That is the scary part because if they botch it, I could lose partial use of the hand permanently.
what do you play off shorty??
(please, dont say a tee!)
