I've just noticed that one guy seems to be playing two realms:
The Elves of Elandor rcbecker1@...
House Tyrandar rbecker32@...
ATY do you know anything about this? This is also the guy that pipped me to house Elandor, anyone claiming ownership of these realms?
This in-game map is really confusing. Those little lines of rocks showing where province borders are look too much like impassible terrain (mountains). It's also amusing how many of the images used are the same as in MD2. I have French Knights on an island to my south. To my east is Venice, to the west is...Denmark? I also miss the little descriptions for each type of troop that was in MD2 and NE.
I'm fairly near you, but not close enough to see you. Scouting on the first turn is based on where the game put your initial forces.
All right, I'll be nice. Here are the rough starting positions:

I was hoping for something more specific, which showed who owns what specific provinces at the start.

Nordlys, I am going to have a tough time with specific advice, since I can't see your lands!
Oh well, you probably knew that already.

Originally posted by NordlysRemember the "disabled gnomes"? Well, the gnomes that would have been disabled would have been disabled because they are overpowered. They are extremely fast heavy cavalry that costs half of what other equivalent (though slower) HC would cost - for example, the Vampire Knights.
What the heck are ubergnomes? Ack, so much to read and learn...
EDIT - They may still be disabled, though I don't think so. They are located in the southwest of the mainland between Valdemar and Serpentine and have another colony in the center north of the mainland.
