Hey! You're talking to seafaring Dwarves. We know more about the world than our northern kin. I am telling you - that dragon used nerve gas on the other dragons. It's a foul beast.

Just went through a bit more carefully - it appears none, although one was reduced to 0 hit points it doesn't say it died(?).

Ahh. That's right; those Battle Reports are confusing. You need to ignore any unit listed as "wounded" in Casualities and only count the actual deaths.

When it says "reduced to 0" I think it's saying that the enemy's attack has been completely absorbed, not that the defending unit has lost all his HP. When the unit has lost all HP it will say that it's killed instead of wounded.

My turn went suprisingly well in that I didn't make any glaring errors. lost a few troops but they were the cheap ones so it didn't matter much, my escapades across the sea went well and I took 2 provinces. Job done!

On edit: The whole 7 gold for a 'good' proclamation can be done every turn, right?
Half right. It's 10 gold.

Sigh - I'll pay someone 2 gold a turn to write a witty proclamation for me - my wittiness was exhausted in turn 1!😀

i hate how the alliance works.. you have to be offered and accepted on the same turn.. didn't realize that.. I thought I would get an offer one turn, and accept it the next

edit: though, I knew the allegiance and suzeriesomethingorother worked that way

You built your troops in a garrison. Order to garrison to form a new unit, then transfer the troops into it. It will ask you which rank to put them in: choose a ranking that makes sense (e.g. the more expendable troops in front).

What is your realm?

I agree - it means you have to email and sort out the alliance thing; I agreed to 3 alliances by email. I didn't realise I had to also offer the alliance during my turn (I thought, this turn I'd get/agree to the alliance).

Consequently, 'I' refused the 3 alliances I'd agreed to by email. 😕
