Also, how does the battle calculator work? I put in everything for my army and my enemy's, and the fact that he's in a fort ... now what?

Is there some way of finding out the projected battle scenario/losses?
I haven't quite worked out the battle calculator either...

As to commoner status etc. Commoners cannot recruit heroes, neither can they gain revenue from more than 7 provinces, other than by pillaging. It serves them to become a Royal's henchman for support and stability.

You're allowed to enter illegal orders, but they will not be processed. You will have no hero next turn.

Best I cancel my recruiting and reinvest the gold!

I mistakenly deleted my list of players - commoners/royals - that Bo emailed ... who are Royals?

(sorry for the persistent requests!)

Every time I have an army in the same province as a garrison/fort and order it to enter/defend, it comes up as waiting outside.

Is the only way to get troops in there to transfer them? Leaving the empty army to disband?

I'm not sure what you're referring to. Are you at war with someone and defending or are you attacking enemy forts (independents, etc)?

If you're attacking a fort, that command does nothing. You can't defend the defender's fort.

If someone attacks YOUR fort (which means you're at war with someone, not just Independents) then that command would work because you can defend your forts.

Can you be more specific?

I have a garrison which has only a few troops in it and an army with a lot more. I suspect I may be attacked next turn so wanted all the troops inside ...

Ahhh - if I have an army ordered to enter/defend a garrison will it come as 'waiting outside' until it's attacked? In which case the army enters?
