Hello,

You have said that you have several players who all want to play in the same game together. You and your friends may be interested in the Team Game format. I am taking sign-ups for it now. If you are interested it would not be a problem to fill out more than one team, however, it is important to remember that t ...[text shortened]... them. You can ally as normal, but you can only declare victory with your original teammates.
I'd rather have a regular game as well.

I think you are refering to the heavenly peaks of our lady, 'Mounts Olympus'.

In reading the forum, I've discovered something unpleasant about Dragonlords; apparently Gnome Cavalry is the "God unit" of the game. Hopefully this is balanced via a patch before we start; if not, anyone who has a chance to grab Gnomeland (it's an Independent province or area; I don't know the official name for it in the game) should do it.

Why couldn't the "God unit" have been something appropriate like Golden Dragons or Orcish Shocktroopers or something?

Gnome cavalry are good, but I don't see why they qualify as a "god" unit. I'd just as soon have one of the dragon producing provinces.

Seems to me like Vampiric Knights are the most powerful units.

That's what they're saying on the forums. That's all I know.

In these games, individual power isn't important. It's the ratio of cost or upkeep to HP or combat. Gnome Cav are almost as good individually as the Vampire Knights but costs less than half as much.

From the forum:

Hello Everyone,

This is the GM. After several requests to improve Dragonlords, I am
now creating a new version of the diploware. There will be more
territories, and 24 realms, including the barbarians in the north
now, and several new trooptypes. There will be much more balance in
everyone's starting realm, and so forth. The map is larger...

The rest is about how he wants people to test the half finished new Diploware.

Next post by the GM:

Hello,

I was also wondering what the most popular races are in Dragonlords.
For the new scenario, I have planned:
3 Barbarians
3 Empire Humans
3 Dwarves
3 Forest Elves
3 Dark Elves
2 Pirates
2 Undead
2 Orcs
2 Halflings
1 Goblin

Are there any really unpopular races? Some have said that they arent
as fond of dwarves. Maybe there should be 1 less Dwarven race and 1
more orc? Your thoughts are welcomed. Email me with feedback please
at the normal email address (gm at agegames dot com).

Sincerely,
GM
