If you do something bad in your dream, do you think that it means that it's something that you are capable of doing?

Good point, but those are not bad things. I'm talking about crime. Lets say you killed someone you don't like in your dream. Does that mean you want to? Or that you are actually capable of doing that?

Depends how YOU felt about the dream while it was going on or when you woke up.

I've dreamed I killed someone and it was awful. I woke up VERY relieved.

I used to dream that girls I hardly knew in real life were my girlfriend.
Then, I would start a campaign to try and win them over - because if a dream was right then it must be fated to happen....

Luckily, I have managed to restrain those urges now - after learning that the girls in my dreams are, in fact, only my representation of the person and they tend to be very different in real life.

I don't think I'm capable of throwing my friend's asswipe boyfriend through three inches of solid glass on the 15th floor of some building I've never been to.

I have dreams where I die a lot. Not pleasant deaths either. Or sometimes I die and come back to life, only to die again, as if I was in a video game. Even worse, after the killing stopped, I ended up at a Nascar race.

I don't think I've killed someone or committed a crime in a dream, though.

Killing someone in a dream is your subconscience tackling a problem.

I believe that the things/objects/people in your dreams are representations of your perceptions about those things .. SO if you kill your mom in a dream ( for example) I dont think you should worry about being a momma killer.. it'd more likely mean you killed some aspect of her in yourself.. or you stopped some aspect of control she had over you..
my 2 cents

dreams are nonsense, and trying to interpret dreams is utter nonsense

You probably do want to. However, assuming you're not an actual psychopath, you have checks and balances in your brain that stop you from doing it. I wouldn't worry about it.

Untrue.
The "pictures" you see aren't real, no, but the feeling is generally based upon some or other problem that's being solved or not.
