I'm a very angry person right now.
So, yesterday after work I go in to my local bar to have a cold one and order some food. I've been going to this place for 6 years and am a respected patron. The bartender, a young gal who started out as a waitress and only tends bar due to the necessity of needing someone to do it on Monday's, is someone I used to date and got rid of for someone better. Needless to say, we don't like each other much. So I order a small pizza and some cheese sticks, all is well so far.
I'm sitting there watching a movie (I'm one of two people in there right now and earned watching whatever I want on the TV priveledges) and the bartender and the waitress are chatting. Here is about how it went down:
Waitress - Who comes into a bar to watch a movie?
Me - I do
Waitress - thats weird
Me - I really wasn't talking to you (waitress walks away to bring out my food order)
Me to bartender - So I see you have new friend there
Bartender - Yea, I've known her for awhile
Me - She don't like me much, she is probably going to spit in my food.
Bartender - She isn't going to spit in your food (as she walks back to the kitchen)
Waitress - Here is your food, and don't worry, I did't spit in it.
So I basically couldn't believe it, she actually went back and told her what I said as a joke. So I was pissed.
Me - You told her?
Bartender - Yea, I told her
Me- Oh, thanks alot, I really appreciate that.
Bartender - You know what, stop it, she works here, I had every right to tell her what you said.
Me (I proceeded to say the magic word) - F--k off!
And I got kicked out. As I'm leaving the two idiots girls are loving every second of it. Its my place and she could have never gotten away with what she did if the owner or every day regular bartenders (my friends) were there.
I'm considering going back there and punching her in the face. i will somehow get my revenge, any suggestions?
Can’t advise you on this but here’s one I like to pull on waitresses when they ask, “How’s your food?” I say, “Uh, OK I guess. Why? What’s wrong with it?” When they try to explain there’s nothing wrong with it, you stare at it for a few seconds then tell them, “I don’t think I want this.” Gets them flustered every time!

Do you think it would have been unusual for any other bartender to tell her colleague your joke? Nope.

I hate to be the one to tell you this, but the truth of the matter is that you overstepped your boundaries. You started the whole mess and then even escalated it when you said, "F--k off!"
