I know some women in this site are nice. But I also think some are not. So what?
Fiesta (unfortunately not as active as before) and Nordlys are two good examples of women on this site with a great sense of humour. Unfortunately, the majority seem to lose all sense of irony/sarcasm about themselves when the comment comes from a man (which isn't even the case).
Just use more smiley's to soften it up 😉.

So, yesterday after work I go in to my local bar to have a cold one and order some food. I've been going to this place for 6 years and am a respected patron. The bartender, a young gal who started out as a waitress and only tends bar due to the necessity of needing someone to do it on Monday's, is someone I used to d ...[text shortened]... ere and punching her in the face. i will somehow get my revenge, any suggestions?

I hope Pocketkings was joking about the whole thing from the beginning. Otherwise, he is what gives men a bad name.
Who cares who told who what? If you didnt want her to tell her, you shouldnt have said it. They are women, and work together - and you are somehow surprised or insulted that the one told the other something of no consequence?
Get a life, stop being an As__ole, or stay at home.
Originally posted by PocketKingsI use to be a bartender in a little pub and I had to serve certain patrons that came in in which I thouroughly despised. Like you they were regulars and well known in the establishment. As hard as it was...I still had to do my job and serve them with a smile just as I would anyone else.
Yes! I give men a bad name!
Reminds me of a Bon Jovi song, oh wait, thats love.
In my opinion it wasn't very professional of the girls to instigate the situation the way they did.
If that had happened where I worked I can tell you right now what would have went down.....the guy would have played it very cool. Wouldn't have made an issue out of the specific incedent but would have made the odd backhanded comments to the staff he was in good with. A few slight comments about the atmoshpere of the place when the offending party was working as compared to when she isn't. Even some exaggerated comments about things she may or may not have said about fellow co-workers...that kind of stuff. All very childish yes...but it happens.
Sometimes quiet whispers are heard much louder than screaming outrages.
