Originally posted by heldenJust go to google type emule and download it. After that open it, connect on the server, and click the name of file you want to download. When you open it first time you will see that it is very easy to handle with its options
Anyone know how to use this, totally clueless.

Search for what you want (that page is quite easy to navigate), then double click on your chosen file and wait.....and wait, and wait, and wait.
Some tips......On the search page click server, and make sure you are on the global server .
Always check the language of the file you are downloading, i have been stuck with a two day download that ended up being in russian (it is hard to tell sometimes). I started putting English in the search, and even that doesn't secure an understandable film.
Once you have downloaded a file, open the folder, scan it, then move it to another file (my movies/music/whatever). Until i moved all the files from the emule recieved folder, the thing downloaded slow and uploaded more than downloaded.
If you click a file to download, and it takes you to a web page.....forget it, it wants you to pay for the download.
I think that's it, if there is anything else, i'll post it.

Try double clicking on one of the servers on on the list at the opening page.....if that doesn't work, i'll PM you tomorrow night when i'm at my PC....i'm really flying blind here, as i never had any problem.

Originally posted by heldenYes, that is what should appear, then that icon becomes the cancel connection icon (with the red circle added)....That should be there for you to proceed. Remember to wait a little while before trying the seach.
just wondering when I click on connect i am getting a red circle with a with dash through it and it says cancel.
Originally posted by heldenI never had to do anything like that. If you've farted about with things like that, maybe that is why you are not getting a connect, Try de-installing, re-installing, then anything you changed by farting about will be rectified.
just thinking does my I.P. address have to go in somewhere?
