Absolutely - more to come (hopefully!)

In all seriousness, is it possible to receive two yellows for time wasting in one game (therefore resulting in an ejection)?

Possibly the dullest game of the tournament so far.

I really expected more from England.
Más culo que cabeza.

P.S.: "Más culo que cabeza" means "more buttt than head" ["more luck than intelligence"]. It is NOT intended to be offensive, only a very common spanish expression.

What a result!

Should have been 3-0 but 1-0 good enough.

Brazil watch out!

I had just that second replied to say that my translation of that came to "more a$$ than head"

A well timed edit! 🙂

Literal translation not always reflects what one wants to mean...

True but in the second half I found myself thinking that I didn't actually care any more if England lost.

So I see. You're right of course but literal translations are usually funnier, though. 😀

However, I'm not too sure if I agree with you. I felt that our win was deserved and that Ecuador didn't look as if they would win - a goal maybe, but then we could have scored more too!

yeah. you won. but the game sucked, and england's team sucked even more...

Dull England's destiny: to be eliminated by Great and Creative Brazil.
