If Gerrard returns to the England fold we may not make the next major International tournament.
Even Frankie Boy had a good game without the scouse whining in his ear.
You don't think Steven Gerrard is good enough for England? Or you think England are a better team without him?
If the answer is the former then I won't bother replying, I'll just let you look a right fool trying to justify it. If the answer is the latter then we'll restart a debate that has raged around Gerrard and Lampard for years. The obvious answer being that they can't play together because they're both too attacking minded. So, if you have to drop one then I (and I'll think you'll find most other people who know something about football) think Gerrard is a superior footballer to Lampard.
As for your child like rant about the Top 4, then see the answer Spurs73 gave me about the SKY hype - I think it applies to you and this so called majority of "real fans" who you say agree with you.
If Man City start buying big and make it a top 5 - you'll despise them too. Just admit you're jealous. Just admit you wish it was your team winning trophies and being talked about endlessly. Just admit this "real fans" and anti top four stuff is one big sulk that your team has been left behind. Just admit you and your team are a bunch of losers.
I look forward to your reply - I'm a litte hungover and could do with a good laugh.

I see Gerrard came on for Liverpool.
Disgraceful traitor. Please don´t pick him for England ever again.
Doesn´t matter how you insult me. It is there for everyone to see. Big clubs only in it for themselves.
My views represent the vast majority of football fans, not those only interest in their glory boys. It is not football you watch these days. I ...[text shortened]... t if you beat the Mancs, it is all much of a muchness in the plastic top four world you inhabit.
Your views represent a number of football fans who are sick of the SKY hype around the big 4. The majority of football fans would have been watching Liverpool v ManU yesterday.
I know what I'm watching is football, very good football, football that wins Champions League trophies. Not the kick and rush, long ball rubbish that your team plays.

My team and a bunch of losers. A lot of teams at their particular level aren´t a bunch of losers. The stats for the number of games we win, lose or draw are pretty even.
The difference is that the supporters of such teams don´t ned to see their team winning most of their games to feel that the team warrants being supported. It is the attitude that if the team are not in the Premier or probably in the top four that they are not worthy of consideration. The idea that Sky TV generally features games that must include one of the top four to mke it interesting. Interesting for who? Football fans that don´t actually go to games, that´s who. Sky don´t seem to be providing coverage for a large segment of their natural market. A portion of Sky money goes to the teams that get featured on it´s live coverage, this skews the money pot in favour of the big four and maintains that monopoly. That is why you can pay what you do for players. Last time Palace were in the Premier, I think we featured live twice - somehow that is not right.
I think Gerrard is a wonderfully talented player. But I don´t think players should pick and chose when they want to play for their country. For supporters to suggest they san shows almighty arrogance. If he doesn´t want to show the same commitment to the national side then he should retire from international football and give some other guy a chance. Whether Liverpool pay his wages is irrelevant. Liverpool showed a lack of respect to all England fans and the coach by playing him on Saturday. They could have at least rested him for that 20 minute sub appearance.
People criticise Ferdinand, Wes Brown, Fat Frank and John Terry, but they turn out for England every game.
It is up to the manager to decide who to pick out of Lampard and Gerrard. I fear he will be pressured to try and fit both in his side. I don´t think he should be doing that unless both players want the spot 100% of the time.
Angry Boy, depite my soapbox rantings, I think most on here see that I have a point. You shout off words like pathetic and mug, but all on here can see that you are the only one throwing insults about. Calling someone a mug, doesn´t win your argument, it suggest you don´t have an argument or you are too illiterate to form one.
I suggest you have an appropriate user name, especially the last part. You should also stop defended the indefensible. There is no glory in supporting a team JUST because they have lots of money, they are the best, or they win more often than not. To set these up as your justifying arguments just makes you look like the schoolboy you are or haven´t grown out of being. Support who you like, but spread your knowledge - football is not just about the big four looking disdainfully down at the rest. Then your opinions will have some validity. At the moment they remind me of the playground support that most of us grew out of.
Take a chill pill. You remind me of that angry German kid playing football manager on You Tube.

19 years since you last won the league ROFL.....
Next time United win the Premiership, we are the most sucessful domestic side in England (with our 11 FA Cup Victories).

Like what? the 3-3 pentaly shootout against AC Milan when Schevchenco had an onside goal ruled out?
Does that beat United winning the TREBLE when 0-1 down in injury time?
Or United winning the FA Cup semi final against Arsenal when down to 10 men in 1999 and Giggs scoring the greatest goal ever (to lead us to the treble).
In the greatest stadium in the world, in the most electric and inspiring atmosphere anywhere else in world football.
Is that why you haven't started building a new stadium?
Becasue your 44,000 capacity shed is already the best stadium in the world?

I assume you are refering to your well deserved victory against Manchester United.
Well played you deserved the win.

AGREE
(1) Liverpool are the most sucessful side in English History.
(2) Liverpool deserved to beat Manchester United on Saturday.
DISAGREE
(1) Liverpool have the best stadium and fans.
The 44,000 shed you play in is 'scheduled' to be replaced, so how can it be the best, also you fail to sell out ALL your games each season.
FIFA also rated Liverpool supporters last season as being responsible for creating the most fights and trouble in Europe, hardly speaks volumes for the best supporters in Europe.
(2) I believe Manchester United have played the greatest football games of all time not Liverpool, but thats a subjective decision and something we would never agree on.
On a side note:
You never seem to recognie anything Manchester United achieve.
I acknowledge and grudgenly respect some of Liverpools achievements.

Although I don't see how you can be so cocky after getting played off the park yesterday.
As far as I'm concerned, yesterday was that anomaly as far as the Poo are concerned. More than likely, you'll revert to "hoof and hope" (the football you derided above) in the coming matches.
I don't see United being so pedestrian in the games ahead, although admittedly, I don't really see us having enough to beat Chelski in the title race.
Liverpool should comfortably see of Arsenal to secure 3rd. Unless Rafa sticks with his usual tactic of forsaking the league in favour of Europe.

MY MY Angry Child,
I suggest you chill out a little and start taking a course of diazapam. From what i've just read, i take it your team is liverpool.
I find this particularly funny as your from WALES. The last time i looked in an atlas Liverpool was still in ENGLAND. Therefore i can only assume you are one of many glory hunters that thinks football ends outside the top half of the premiership.
Getting back to liverpool. I was just wondering whether you was one of the drunken hoards that rushed the gates at Hillsboro in 1989.
Then again, from the offensive literature you have written, you were probably born in 2003.
I'll give you a little reminder. Hundreds of so called liverpool fans, without tickets, got pissed up in an area of sheffield called Wadsley bridge. They then ran the half mile or so to the ground and rushed the old gates. In my view DIRECTLY causing the deaths of fellow LIVERPOOL fans, who had tickets and got there in plenty of time to see thier team. Then pinned the blame on a poor old copper who had to make some split second decisions. Bet ur proud of that one.
I reckon you ought to take your filthy mouth and attitude and learn some pride and honour, because you possess none.

As for the glory hunter jibe - I'm 35 and yes, when I was a young lad LFC were the best team in Europe. However, I didn't choose LFC, my family (many of whom moved to North Wales from Merseyside, one of which actually played for LFC) are all reds. I had no choice who I supported.
By the sounds of it, I'll bet you really did have to check an atlas to see Liverpool was in England.
