How about the Body Gaurd?

He goes home to his Dad and there on the table is a game that's been left exactually as it was and has taken a long time to play.

I just love that idea, that his Dad always has time for him, the open chess board; waiting.

Maybe I like it because chess was about getting Dads attension when I was young.

Anyone else think it's a lovelly idea?

The Luzhin Defence is full of chess games but there is a nice endgame combination at the end of the film that Jon Spielman created for the film which you can see Emily Watson play here:
