I wasn't aware of this - this changes everything, maybe a ban wasn't even necessary at all. If somebody posts their own personal information first can somebody repeating it really be blamed?
I think somebody made a decision without actually looking at the background. At least, when admin do this, they are normally man enough to admit to their mistakes. My recommendation to them is to search through MPP's removed posts, to where he boasts about not hiding behind an anonymous internet alias.

So are you saying that Russ needs to remove that latest rule for everyone then? If everyone is released from the rule, then I can support that. But since it's been declared people can be permanently removed from the site for this, whatever the rule is should apply to everyone.

Hmmmmm. It's starting to sound like somebody, being made an example of most undeservingly, to set a precedent.
What can be done though to make the powers that be listen?
I have abused the forums on a multitude of occasions and only received a two week ban. This is starting to sound a lot more than ridiculous, and way out of line with any punishment anyone has received before.

As I mention above, if I make publically available information, then how can somebody be banned for regurgitating that information, especially if goaded into doing it, as that troll did in some removed threads.
He's here to cause trouble and get attention, and this kind of thing is exactly what he wants.

Additionally, It was clear that FatLoser posted my perrsonal information with the sole intention of harassment and annoyance. This was a good decision and a necessary precedent in order to restore order to the forums.
