@Very-Rusty saidEngerland 🎶
Hey, there is always 4 years from now eh!!!! 😉
Come on do you really think they will win a cup this year?
-VR
😂
No. I do not. But then I didn't think Greece would win the euros in 2004 or England would beat the mighty Congo so anything is possible.
But the prediction?
Mexico 8 : Engerland -1
🤗
@Trev333 saidWOW....You believe Mexico is that much better?

Of course I know you guys know the game much better than I do.
Looks like a lot of things not being called to me, even the commentators said they are letting too much go.
I figured Canada would get beat by more that 3-0 against that power house Morocco has. They appeared to have the upper hand on Morocco in the first half and out shot them 11 to 5 in the game only Morroco finshed and 3 of their 5 shots and Canada didn't finish any but had chances, did better than I had expected them to do.
That's football. Aim of the game is to get the ball past the goaltender and into the net. Canada didn't do that while they were dominating...
Yes. I believe that Mexico is that much better... So much better that England will finish with -1 goal. That's hard to do in football. Obviously this is from a completely non bias Irishman 😉
@Trev333 saidI think you meant non-bias Irishman. 😉

I know the object of the game I am just saying without that Goaltender/Goalkeeper, what ever you guys like to call him Canada could have had Morocco in trouble in the first half.
I know all the experts were surprised and expected complete domination by Morocco in that game. Although some said they thought Canada would be better prepared.
Hopefully it will be a good learning experience and Canada's good player's will be able to play in the next one and keep most of those players, so much can happen in 4 years!
When are Mexico and England playing?
-VR
@Very-Rusty saidNeed to qualify in 4 years, that won't be easy. But there's talk of expanding it even to 64 teams, which in a lot of ways would be better than 48.

It's in 6 hours time. 1am UK time so a late night coming up. Say they're could be the odd delay as well due to bad weather... Pubs might need to stay open until 6am

I am going to try and catch some of that game if not all of it, I have to check what time we get it here. We going to get it at around 9:00 p.m. tonight Much rougher game physically than I had previously thought.
I was told the FIFA cup doesn't start until the 16 remaining Teams are left.

@Very-Rusty saidI think they could make the semi-finals. But it's really a crap shoot at this point.
How far do you think England will get?
Obviously further than Canada, but we are up and coming owned Morocco in the first half just couldn't finish. It will all be a learning lesson for them I am sure.

donald trump's corruption knows no bounds
and now he's corrupted infantino as well
i am ashamed for the honor of my country
A source familiar with the matter told CNN on Sunday that Trump spoke with FIFA President Gianni Infantino this week after Balogun’s red card and asked the FIFA leader to review the call. On Sunday afternoon, soccer’s governing body announced it was using an obscure rule to suspend Balogun’s automatic one-match ban for one year, allowing the striker to play against Belgium in the Round of 16.

FIFA stunned the soccer world by allowing the USA’s Folarin Balogun to play on Monday. Trump’s role is under the microscope

Mexicooooo 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
@diver saidBrazil got worse with each sub. Norway, to your point, sublimely organised. Will take some beating regardless of who gets through Mexico England game.
Norway have been robust, organised and energetic.
Brazil ran out of legs and ideas; certainly not the Brazil of decades past.
Neymar way past his best imo.
Great win for Norway.
