Ecuador didn't lose because of the altitude, Quito is pretty high as well. Probably the lack of sleep 😴😄

Thing that baffles me is that Tuchel waited until after the first game of the tournament to realise Guehi and Konsa are the best English central defenders and start to develop a partnership. Even then he didn't care that Henderson was in goal behind Guehi at Palace for years, with a long established relationship whilst also having played a full season in Europe, playing in unfamiliar grounds, cultures and climates. Henderson has also won FA Cup, Community Shield and Europa Conference over the past 14 months, where as it was an Evertonian who said to me yesterday that Pickford has a mistake in him. How much are we paying Tuchel again???

@XRB saidPickford could easily given away a penalty in that game where he rushed out and caught the player; can’t remember which game but you’ll remember the incident. Probably wasn’t entirely his fault given the link up between midfield and defence was non existent at the time.
