England’s Reece James (the broken reed of injuries) has a hamstring problem, hasn’t travelled with the team for tonight’s game against Panama and could possibly be out for the rest of the tournament.

Rice is also carrying an injury and could be rested.

Manager Tuchel now faces some tough choices short and longer term.

Fun fact:

Turkey arrived at the Championship as unoffcial football champion (like in boxing the new champ is the one beating the old champ, there has been a nice webpage, and you can still look it up at wikipedia). They lost the title to Australia, who in turn lost it to the USA and they lost it to Turkey again.

So the unofficial champ kept their title through the Championship while being eliminated.

Apparently Scotland’s (the land of my birth) chances of “moving on”, in the World Cup, are .07%. 😢I won’t be betting on them. Go Canada Go.👍

I have even watched some games not involving Canada. The Dialsysis Nurses from the phillipines are all into soccer. I was watching a Blue Jays game last night which they lost, now 5 games in a row I believe. One of them asked me if all I watched was the games involving Canada....LOL...
